PUDHO joins PTF-ELCAC orientation and action planning

The Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) with the theme “Towards a Peaceful, Inclusive, Just and Equitable Development” held an orientation and action planning on 20 November 2019 at the ADEM Events Center, Brgy. Labuin, Sta. Cruz, Laguna.

 

One of the participating offices is the Provincial Urban Development and Housing Office (PUDHO) represented by Ms. Ma. Susan M. Pascual. PUDHO is under the Basic Services Cluster headed by Mr. Ernesto M. Montecillo, chief of the Provincial Social Welfare Development Office (PSWDO) and the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program(E-CLIP) and Amnesty Program Cluster headed by Engr. John M. Cerezo, Acting Laguna Provincial Director of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG.)

 

Matters discussed were an overview of E.O. No.70 (Institutionalizing the Whole-Of-Nation Approach in Attaining Inclusive and Sustainable Peace, Creating a National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict, and Directing the Adoption of a National Peace Framework), threat situation report, roles and responsibilities of the task force, awarding of assistance to former rebels and the pledge of commitment of all members of the said task force.
