Skills Training on Pipe Fitting NC II for PDLs at LPJ

The Laguna Provincial Jail (LPJ) spearheaded the opening of a free livelihood skills training on Pipe Fitting NC II on 05 August 2019 at the LPJ Administration Building. A total of 50 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) availed of the training: 13 from Dr. Jose P. Rizal, 12 from Gat. Andres Bonifacio, 6 from Teodora Alonzo (Female), 10 from Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo and 9 from Gen. Antonio Luna dormitories.

STA. CRUZ, Laguna – The Provincial Government of Laguna headed by Governor Ramil L. Hernandez, through the Laguna Provincial Jail (LPJ), spearheaded the launching of a free livelihood skills training course on Pipe Fitting NC II on 05 August 2019 at the LPJ Administration Building.

Laguna Provincial Jail reinforces prohibition on mobile phones

Following a report that cell phones are used freely by persons deprived of liberty (PDL), the Laguna Provincial Jail (LPJ) reinforced the prohibition on said gadgets inside the facility.

LPJ opens Sports Fest 2018

The Laguna Provincial Jail headed by OIC-Provincial Warden Prof. Marino A. Garcia, PhD, formally opened Sports Fest 2018 on May 3, 2018 at 8:00 AM at the LPJ basketball court. The event started with an opening parade participated by basketball and volleyball teams from all dormitories, followed by an exhibition game between LPJ personnel and selected players of Dr. Jose Rizal dormitory.

LPJ conducts Jail Management and Treatment of Offenders Seminar

The Laguna Provincial Jail’s (LPJ) first batch of eighteen (18) employees from the second shift (1500H-2300H) attended the five-day Jail Management and Treatment of Offenders (JMTO) Seminar from April 3 to 7, 2018 at the Administration Building. The seminar is in line with the approved Laguna Provincial Jail’s Plans and Programs 2018.
