Laguna Serbisyong Tama Kababaihan celebrates 2nd anniversary

 
BIÑAN CITY, Laguna – Governor Ramil L. Hernandez led the 2nd anniversary celebration of Laguna Serbisyong Tama Kababaihan (STK) recently held at the Alonte sports Complex, with 800 chapters of approximately 4000 women Lagunenses in attendance.
 
Founded by Senior Board member Ruth Mariano-Hernandez, the Laguna STK was created to empower women, providing livelihood training programs and medical missions, to name a few. The STK also pushes for gender equity and equality; and freedom from violence and abuse, either physical or mental.
Governor Hernandez stressed that a woman’s place is not only in the home.They also provide substantial contribution not only in the development and progress of their respective communities, but of the province of Laguna as well.
 

Gracing the occasion was special Assistant to the President Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go, Vice Governor Atty. Karen C. Agapay, Lone District of Biñan Representative Len Alonte, Provincial Administrator Dulce H. Rebanal, and other officials of the provincial government. (PIO Laguna)
