Laguna inks MoU with ACCB Lions Club on Sight for Kids program

STA. CRUZ, Laguna – Governor Ramil L. Hernandez, representing the Provincial Government of Laguna (PGL), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Angeles City Clark Balibago Lions Club (ACCBLC) represented by Centennial President Lion Sol Wilfredo C. Flores, Jr., MJF, at the Governor’s Office Conference Room on February 26, 2018. The agreement aims to implement the Sight for Kids program of Lions Club International Foundation (LCIF) in the province of Laguna.
 
The MoU sets forth the nature of the program and undertakings of the signing parties involved that also include Lion Marlan S. Manguba, 2PMJF and District 302-a2 Governor; and Dr. Josilyn S. Solana, DepEd Laguna Schools Division Superintendent.
 

 

Sight for Kids is “a program that that mobilizes eye care professionals and volunteers to conduct vision screenings in low-income schools and provides teachers with eye health training.” It was created by LCIF and Johnson & Johnson Vision Care in the year 2002 “to provide vision screenings and eye health education for children in Asia.” (PIO Laguna)
