Gov. Hernandez distributes treated mosquito nets

Gov. Ramil L. Hernandez recently distributed 551 pieces of “treated mosquito nets” at Purok I, Brgy. Tubuan in the municipality of Pila, the purpose of which is to help in the prevention of being bitten by dengue–carrying mosquitoes and avoid dengue virus infection.

The Governor cannot stress enough the importance of keeping the surroundings clean and eliminating breeding sites of mosquitoes; properly disposing of articles that hold water like unused tires, cans, bottles; using mosquito killer sprays; and other environmental hygiene practices.

Also present in the occasion were Laguna Provincial Health Office head Dr. Rene Bagamasbad, and Mr. Rommel Palacol, head of Laguna Action Center.
