Continuous distribution of treated mosquito nets

Provincial Information Office
September 02, 2016

Governor Ramil L. Hernandez continued to distribute treated mosquito nets to his constituents on the 1st of September 2016, handing out 578 nets to residents of Brgy. Sto. Tomas,Calauan; and another 500 at the Pamana Hall in San Pablo City, assisted by Vice Governor Atty. Karen C. Agapay.

Gov. Hernandez is well aware of the risk of contracting dengue fever caused by infection through bites of Aedes mosquitoes carrying the dengue virus. The treated mosquito nets can in one way prevent such occurrences, not to mention eliminating sources of standing water where mosquitoes can breed and using mosquito repellents, among others.

The Governor enjoins his constituents to take all the necessary precautions to avoid being bitten by these mosquitoes, and prevent dengue infections.
