MATERNAL HEALTH and CANCER CONTROL PROGRAM
for the YEAR 2014

 

Introduction:

         

The family is designed as the smallest unit in which parents play major responsibilities. Parents should be responsible enough to meet rights of their children; The right to be born will; the right to have a wholesome family life; the right to nutrition; adequate clothing and sufficient shelter; right to education and personality development; the right to have good moral values and material security. Parents give love, care, understanding and counseling to their children.

         

The Provincial Government of Laguna, thru the leadership of the past Governors continues and strengthens the program. In October 15, 2010, Former Governor Hon. Jeorge “E.R.” Ejercito Estregan issued memorandum no. 68; Rationalizing the Delivery of Health Services. The Provincial Population Office – Clinical Services, with PPO – Outreach and Provincial Nutrition Office are integrated and placed under the direct supervision of the Provincial Health Officer.

 

 

 

 

MISSION:

          Under the Provincial Health Office, the PPO – Clinical Services uplift the quality of life of every Filipino family by providing information/ education/ counseling and clinical services on Cancer Prevention Program; Natural Family Program and Reproductive Health; Maternal Health Program integrating the program with other development programs of the province.

 

 

 

 

 


VISION:

          In the year 2014, we envisioned increasing in numbers of God centered families; responsible parents; physically, mentally and spiritually secured children, all productive in the community. We also envisioned the revival of “Magandang Kaugaliang Filipino.”
