SPCDH Web Application Development Training

Laguna Provincial Hospital - San Pablo City District Hospital

     BAGUIO CITY, Benguet - System administrators from different government hospitals including Mr. Ralph Rennan C. Bundalian from Laguna Provincial Hospital – San Pablo City District Hospital (LPH-SPCDH) attended the Web Application Development Training on September 19-23, 2016 (Batch 2) held at Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC).

 

     Mr. Jackson G. Damasco, one of the Developers from BGHMC, was the resource speaker for the said training. Among the topics covered by the training was installing and using Laravel. Laravel is an open source web framework intended for the development of web applications following the model-view-controller (MVC) architectural framework. Participants also presented their outputs during the last day of the training.

 

     The training was organized by the Government Hospital Information Technologist Association of the Philippines’ (GHITAP) officers headed by Mr. Joma Roque P. Revilla (GHITAP President,AO V – Quirino Memorial Medical Center), with the support of the Department of Health’s (DOH) Knowledge Management and Information Technology Service (KMITS).

 

     With the help of modern technology, IT professionals are given necessary tools and knowledge in innovating Hospital Information System which help improve hospital services and providing quality healthcare service. (Article by Ralph Rennan Bundalian/Photo by GHITAP)
