PUDHO participates in LIAC of SPC meeting

Provincial Urban Development & Housing Office

July 26, 2018

The Provincial Urban Development & Housing Office (PUDHO) headed by Mr. Vivencio G. Malabanan participated in the second Local Inter-agency Committee (LIAC) meeting of the City of San Pablo that was held at the San Pablo City (SPC) city hall on Thursday, July 5, 2018.

The formulation of plans and ways to help informal settlers in the said city was discussed, as well as concerns of those who will be affected by the on-going PNR projects and their relocation.

In addition to the officials of LGU of San Pablo City, representatives from the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP), Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC), Philippine National Railways (PNR) and National Housing Authority (NHA) were also present to discuss the roles of their agencies.

LIAC is a multi-stakeholder body consisting of a representative from the concerned local government unit (LGU), national government agencies (NGAs), homeowners association or sectoral organizations (NGOs), and from the private sectors, charged with the implementation and monitoring of the resettlement action plan, including the resettlement assistance fund (RAF) at the resettlement sites in Regions III and IV-A.
