PTO hosts flag raising ceremony

The Provincial Treasurer’s Office (PTO) hosted Monday’s flag raising ceremony on March 27, 2017.  PTO head Mrs. Evelyn A. de Guzman reported on the accomplishments of the office for the year 2016.

 

Mrs. De Guzman was proud to report that based on the estimated revenue for the General Fund’s Receipts and Revenues of P2,749,686,472.52, total collections was P2,703,901,250.61 or 98.33% of the target as realized income. This year’s collectionsexceeded that of 2015 that stood at 96% of the estimated revenue for that year.

 

Public auctions were also conducted in the municipalities of Alaminos, Bay, Los Baños, Magdalena, Nagcarlan, Paete, Pakil, Sta. Maria and Siniloan. Out of a total 392 published Notice of Delinquency, 205 properties were paid after the publication. Total number of warrant of levy served was 187; 34 properties were paid before auction; 14 properties with compromise agreement; and a total of 88 properties auctioned.

 

Municipalities scheduled for next auction by the 3rd quarter of 2017 are Alaminos, Calauan, Cavinti, Kalayaan, Liliw, Los Ba are Alaminos, Calauan, Cavinti, Kalayaan, Liliw, Los Baños, Mabitac, Magdalena, Pagsanjan, and Pangil.
