Provincial plant nursery maintenance

Provincial Government-Environment & Natural Resources Office
December 29, 2016

The Provincial Government-Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO) always makes sure that the provincial plant nursery is always properly maintained by regularly cleaning the surroundings and providing suitable conditions necessary for optimum plant growth.

On December 05, 2016, weeding and cleaning  was conducted in the nursery area where 116 seeds of mabolo were planted, and flowering plants were also planted on the 7th.

The following day December 8, 200 seedlings of mahogany were given to Mr. Rufo Hernandez of Pila, Laguna for climate change mitigation. Moreover, unwanted shrubs and plants were later removed from the front area for replanting of herbal and flowering plants.

On December 9, nursery workers repaired and placed bamboo sticks around the potting shed area.
