LTMO participates in 1st Quarter NSED for 2018

The Laguna Traffic Management Office (LTMO) administrative staff participatedin the 1st Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 15, 2018.
 
The main goal of the activity is the participation of the general public, government and non-government, private and academe sectors to raise awareness on Disaster preparedness to scale up earthquake preparedness all over the country to enjoin every organization, family and individual to support the OCD and the PDRRMO for its National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill Campaign all throughout the year.
 
In line with this, the Office of the Civil Defense (OCD) and the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (PDRRMO)rollled out the “BidaangHanda Campaign” which generally aims to promote disaster preparedness through public’s participation in the said activity.
 

Ms. Maria Iryn C. Panisan, the assigned Marshal of LTMO, encouraged and reminded her co-workers of the “Duck, Cover and Hold” procedure in connection withdisaster preparedness in the event of an earthquake.(Article by Maria Iryn C. Panisan, LTMO)
