LPL conducts student orientation

   In line with the K to 12 Curriculum, Mr. Omar C. Sandicho, Coordinator, School Reading Program/Grade 7 Teacher of Pedro Guevara Memorial National High School (PGMNHS), Sta. Cruz, Laguna, had requested the office of the Laguna Provincial Library (LPL) for an orientation on the basic knowledge needed by the students on how to use the library and its collections  as part of their Second Quarter lessons under the Reading Comprehension Study Skills – Library Skills.
 
    LPL staff Ms. Marites S. Flores conducted the orientation from September 6-15, 2016 to 387 students focusing mainly on how to use card catalog, parts of the book, familiarization on different library sections as well as introducing the Online Public Access Cataloging (OPAC) - an online database material.
 
    After the said orientation, students were given an opportunity to explore the library and browse LPL collections using the card catalog.
