The Laguna Labor Management Council Inc. (LLMCI), also known as the Laguna Tripartite Industrial Peace Council (Laguna TIPC), successfully held its 6th Convention last September 14, 2017 at the Santa Rosa City Auditorium.through the leadership of Department of Labor and Employment-Laguna Provincial Office headed by OIC Dir. Guido Recio,
 
The convention theme was “Beat the Challenges of Tripartism” encompassing the ideals of Four Pilllars of Decent Work (Rights at Work, Employment, Social Protection and Social Dialogue), responsible unionism, tripartism in industrial relations, corporate social responsibility, labor management cooperation in enterprise level, and entrepreneurship.
 
The highlights of the occasion were the turnover of responsibility to new officers; the induction of the new officers for the year 2017-2019 officiated by Usec. Bernard Olalia who also delivered the keynote speech in behalf of DOLE Sec. Silvestre Bello; and the launching of the regular program “KapihansaLLMCi”, which is a venue for dialogue on relevant issues and concerns of labor, management and government sectors.
 
Sectoral Concerns Office head Mr. Edward Inzon of delivered the inspirational message in behalf of Governor Ramil Hernandez.
 

The occasion was attended by more than 450 participants composed of Human Resourcepersonnel, union leaders, local LMC officers, and government representatives.
