The Laguna Provincial Chest Center (LPCC) continued to support Governor Ramil L. Hernandez’s Serbisyong Tama Caravan (STC) in the last quarters of 2018, promoting free health and wellness services particularly to underserved Lagunenses in remote barangays of the province.
Services rendered included laboratory examination; medical, optical and skin consultations; tooth extraction, Pap smear, ECG, animal vaccination, reading glasses, and medicines.
Not to mention feeding programs, seedlings, organic fertilizers, animal vaccines, haircut, and massage, while lectures on the adverse effects of smoking, cancer prevention, and other health practices were also given.
Said caravans were successfully conducted in coordination with the respective barangay officials, through the Provincial Public affairs Office headed by Mr. Catalino N. Sarmiento.
The Laguna Chest Center, on the other hand, is headed by Dr. Ramon B. Carlos.
