Farmers Field School graduation in Santa Cruz, Laguna

Farmers Field School graduation in Santa Cruz, Laguna. Approximately one hundred twenty five (125) farmers from the municipalities of Nagcarlan, Magdalena, Calauan, Bay and Los Baños participated in the mass graduation of Farmers Field School on Sustainable Pig Farming (FFS-SPF) in Santa Cruz. The activity aims to increase the income of animal raisers in the province by encouraging them to adopt field practices most suitable to their farming system of choice. The activity was sponsored by the Agricultural Training Institute Regional Training Center 4A, in collaboration with Provincial Veterinarian Dr. Mary Grace Bustamante, with the full support the provincial government headed by Governor Ramil Hernandez. Provincial Administrator Atty. Dulce H. Rebanal awarded the certificates to the farmer-participants.
