Earthquake and Fire Drill

LPH-Gen.Juan Cailles Memorial District Hospital

     Rain or shine the show must go on and yes it was a rainy day on August 15, 2016 at 2:15pm when LPH-General Juan Cailles Memorial District Hospital (LPH-GJCMDH) employees held its yearly Earthquake and Fire drill. The rain did not slowdown those present and carefully carried out lessons learned from past drills - to be calm and prepared during emergency situations.
 
     Present were our Chief of Hospital and Incident Commander Rudolfo C. Villarin,MD,MBA-H; Operation Center Head Marvin Orisa; Paete Municipal Fire Marshall Senior Fire Officer III Mr. Luis P. Andaya and Pakil Chief of Police Juan Renzon Gonzalez III.
 
     All went well during the drill - employees left the building in order; patients were accompanied by nurses and attendants; victims were color tagged and brought to the Medical Team of Dr. Josept Mantala; Dr. Godfrey Acelajado; Dr. Clare Fadul; Dr Hannah Maulawin and Dr. Jean Bernabe. The color tagged victims were transferred to hospital of higher facility.
 
     This year’s drill was headed by our COH Dr. Rudolfo C. Villarin,MD,MBA-H; Dr. Gilson Valendo (Medical Officer III) and Teresita S. Salem RN,MAN Health Emergency Management Staff Coordinators (HEMS).
 
     Mr. Orisa; Mr. Andaya and Mr. Gonzalez unanimously graded this year’s drill as one of the best again in Laguna besting eight other LPH-PGL hospitals.
