ALS students and STK members undergo livelihood training

On 07 July 2017, Alternative Learning System (ALS) students of Central Elementary School of Siniloan (CESS) and members of the Serbisyong Tama Kababaihan (STK) of Victoria, Laguna underwent livelihood training programs conducted by the Special Livelihood Office (SLO) headed by Mrs. Teresa Nieva B. Reodica.


The ALS students from CESS received training on basic baking course on brownies, chiffon cake, dinner roll and chocolate cupcake; while 57 STK members from various barangays of Victoria were taught making of paper beads, straw bag, doormat and pot holder at the municipal covered court in that municipality.

The training programs, aimed at providing additional source of income for the beneficiaries, were made possible through the effort of the following: Mrs. Gertrudes Espiritu, Over-all President of Federation of Women and Mrs. Aurora Gonzales, wife of the current Mayor and Founder of STKin Victoria, Laguna; and Mrs. Jaydee Acelajado, ALS Mobile Teacher and Coordinator for Siniloan, Laguna.
